BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance

This programme is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the world’s largest global professional accountancy body. Course content is fully aligned with the first two stages of the ACCA qualification, maximising the potential for exemptions. Upon graduation provided the required modules have been passed students may be eligible for up to nine ACCA exemptions, making it possible to become a fully ACCA-qualified accountant within two years of completing the degree.

The programme is also aligned with the standards of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), equipping students with the knowledge and foundation needed to progress confidently along the CIMA pathway. Graduates may additionally be eligible for CIMA exemptions, assessed directly by the professional body.

The degree is further recognised as a valid entry criterion for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, meaning graduates are eligible to apply for the CFA upon completion of their studies.

In partnership with Moody’s, students have access to a wealth of real-world financial data. Working alongside advanced statistical software, this gives students the opportunity to make informed financial decisions using live data ensuring they are well-versed in modern finance practice well before graduation.
