Entry onto Foundation (Level 3)

Academic Route

Applicants are expected to have achieved one of the following:

  • A minimum of two A Levels at grade DD or equivalent

  • BTEC qualification

  • T Level Pass

  • A combination of qualifications totalling a minimum of 48 UCAS points

  • Access to HE Diploma

Non-Academic Route

Applicants will be required to attend and pass a compulsory Prepare for Foundation assessment day, involving a range of activities designed to evaluate suitability for the course. Applicants must be able to demonstrate, through activities, written descriptions of previous experience, and study or career goals, a genuine commitment and motivation for higher education study in this subject.

Those applying without formal academic qualifications must have studied or demonstrate relevant experience for a minimum of two years post GCSE level.

Mature Students

Applicants with work experience seeking to further their career development are welcome and will be processed through the awarding university’s standard admissions procedures. This may involve an interview or the submission of additional supporting documents.

GST will conduct all necessary initial interviews and admissions processes to evaluate applicant eligibility.
